Dubai Metro Project

Dubai Metro Station Accessibility Study

RMC was invited by RTA to conduct a study into the accessibility of Dubai Internet City Station, Jebel Ali Station and Etisalat Station. The study assessed access difficulties at these three stations, analysing passenger flow using observed hourly ridership and comparing it with VISUM model outputs.

Dubai Tram Ridership Phase I & II Feasibility Study

RTA commissioned RMC to update Dubai Tram ridership forecasts. The tram links major commercial, residential and leisure centres in the Marina and Al Sufouh corridor. Nineteen stations are planned over two phases: Phase I (JBR/Dubai Marina) and Phase II (Dubai College to Madinat Jumeirah and Mall of the Emirates).

Development of Transportation Plan for Dubai Silicon Oasis

Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) Authority appointed RMC to undertake a Traffic Impact Study (TIS) for the revised DSO master plan. DSO is a mixed-use free-zone development of ~7.6 million m² in south Dubai, designed as a self-sufficient high-tech community with offices, residences, industries, hotels, commercial, educational and healthcare facilities.
