Recent Projects
Route 2020 – Transport Model Update
RMC updated models, generated ridership forecasts, developed station-context plans and ran pedestrian simulations for extending the Dubai Metro Red Line from Nakheel Harbour & Tower to Expo 2020. Land-use and network data were refined for multiple alignment scenarios in the Expo area.
Abu Dhabi STEAM Model Enhancement
For Abu Dhabi DoT, RMC enhanced the STEAM model: collected 2 500 RP and 1 700 SP surveys in Dubai & Abu Dhabi, built a new mode-choice model, and developed a highway-based Avenue sub-model to expand scenario-testing capability.
