Abu Dhabi STEAM Model Enhancement

In August 2013, RMC was commissioned by the Abu Dhabi Department of Transport (DoT) to undertake a study to enhance some elements of the existing Abu Dhabi STEAM transport model. In this study, RMC has collected 2,500 RP and 1,700 SP surveys in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, respectively, for use in the development of a new mode choice model. The study also involves development of a highway based Avenue model. The study is ongoing and RMC is continuing to provide technical support to the DoT.
